We want you to be sure before you commit. Every attar order arrives with a separate testing bottle, so you can try the scent before you keep the main bottle. Oud and incense is sold by weight and cannot be returned, so please order it only when you are sure. Accessories can be checked at the door and handed back unused.
The testing bottle
Every attar order ships with a small testing bottle alongside the main bottle. Try the testing bottle first. If you love the scent, keep the main bottle and pay cash on delivery.
The testing bottle is yours to keep either way. Oud and incense does not ship with a tester, see the section below.
Oud and incense
Oud and incense does not come with a testing bottle. There is no way to sample a chip without burning it, and a burned chip cannot be sold again.
Oud and incense is not returnable. It is a natural good, cut and weighed for your order, and once it has left us we cannot sell it on to anyone else. Please order it only when you are sure of the grade and the quantity you want.
If you are unsure which grade suits you, call or message us before you order and we will talk it through.
Accessories
Accessories such as leather bags do not ship with a tester. Check the item in front of the rider. If it is not what you expected, hand it back unused, in its packaging, and pay nothing for it.
Once an accessory has been used, we cannot take it back.
How returns work
Because we deliver cash-on-delivery, you decide at the door. For an attar, try the tester and return the main bottle unopened if the scent is not for you, and you pay nothing for it. Oud and incense is not returnable. An accessory can be handed back at the door unused.
If you have already paid and want to return an eligible item, let us know within 1 day of delivery and we will arrange it.
Conditions for return
An attar's main bottle must be unopened, with its seal intact, and in its original packaging. We cannot accept a main bottle that has been opened or used, for hygiene and safety reasons.
Oud and incense cannot be returned.
An accessory must be unused, with its packaging intact.
The testing bottle does not need to be returned.
Damaged or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or different from what you ordered, check it in front of the rider and tell us within 1 day. We will replace it or make it right at no extra cost to you. This applies to oud and incense and to accessories too.
Refunds
Most of our orders are cash-on-delivery, so in most cases there is nothing to refund, since you simply do not pay for anything you hand back at the door. The delivery charge is non-refundable. Where a refund does apply, we process it within 7 days through the same method you used.

Call or email us with your order number and the reason for the return. We will guide you through the next steps and arrange pickup or exchange where needed.
